Public transpiration 2 blocks away for easy access to all tango venues (10-15mn) or even to the airport (Maxx, line 75).

$35 a night. I can provide sheets and blankets.

I live in a great neighborhood within walking district from the infamous Hawthorne street. The area has numerous retail stores, including groceries, restaurants, bars, brewpubs, microbreweries, and clothing. The neighborhood is very safe. Hawthorne district is known for its young, liberal residents and pedestrian-friendly high density mixed-use development.

My home is eco-friendly, pet free, clean and tidy. Would gladly host like-minded people.

This is a large house literally walking distance from Norse Hall (15 blocks). Dorm style accommodations on my living/dining room dancefloor. Free to use full kitchen.

I was putting it out there that I have three studio spaces and some guest quarters available for rent over Tangofest.

The first is my Studio, La Casita, on Mt Tabor- this is a standalone house with a dancefloor, a half bath and a sleeping loft. This is where Pulpo and other teachers have stayed in the past. This is a beautiful and private space with a sprung floor and stereo.

The second is a studio space over my garage (Hawthorne) for is available for privates and such.

The third is a spacious dance room in my house in the Hawthorne neighborhood.

Also I have a full Master suite and a guest room that I am willing to rent out. Both of these will have access to the dance spaces.

The large sunny Master suite includes king size bed, mirrored makeup vanity, bureau, full length mirror, dual walk in shower, and jacuzzi tub.

The guest room is simple with just a futon bed and table and closet.

I can send photos or discuss prices with any possibilities. For the studio or the master suite $100/day seems reasonable since these are nicer than a hotel room and includes dance floors and sound systems that can be used at their pleasure.

Free ValenTango Housing

Our guest bedroom and two couches are available for out-of-state ValenTango visitors. This is in downtown Portland, seven blocks west of the Scottish Rite venue. In the kitchen, the microwave, fridge, and toaster are available, as are washer/dryer. MAX/bus are nearby so no need to drive anywhere, but there's parking for another car.

Valentango housing available. I live 13 miles from the dance activities. That is about a 15 to 20 minute drive, without any traffic problems. It is an easy drive. There are some ride-share possibilities. It would be easiest for you if you have a car to drive. I have room for about 10 people sleeping on couches, in beds and sleeping bags. Large dance floor available with good sound system. Kitchen available. We always have fun and make some friends at the same time during Valentango. I may be able to pick you up at the airport and take you back to it. (no promises) It is about a $35 cab fare to the airport from my place.
